The Mumbai Indians, five-time IPL champions, have revealed their official 2025 uniform, which will go on sale on March 22.

“The shirt still features the recognizable blue and gold color scheme that embodies the spirit of the Mumbai Indians. Gold denotes glory, accomplishment, and the unwavering quest of perfection, while blue stands for trust, confidence, and the team’s limitless potential,” MI stated in a release.

In a passionate speech to the supporters on the occasion, MI captain Hardik Pandya pledged to continue Mumbai’s illustrious history alongside the team’s key members, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma.

“2025 is our chance, Paltan, to put the legacy back where it belongs. We shall take the pitch to play like Mumbai while wearing the blue and gold. Our jersey isn’t the only one. I’ve promised you this. He said, “Let’s meet at Wankhede, Chala bhetu, Wankhede la.”

With only four victories out of 14 league stage games during Pandya’s return to Mumbai as captain, MI, the co-most successful side in the competition’s history, finished last in the 2024 season.

With a newfound sense of purpose, they will try to move past the setbacks of the 2024 season and start their pursuit of a record sixth championship. On March 23, the Hardik-led team will play the Chennai Super Kings in an El Clasico at the Chepauk to begin the IPL 2025.

When the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) play the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the storied Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22, 2025, the cricketing spectacle will begin.

Nearly two weeks after the Champions Trophy concludes on March 9, the ten-team competition will get underway. The season’s 74 games, including 12 doubleheaders, will be held at 13 different locations.
