Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Swami Ramdev discuss spreading Yoga and Ayurveda in the state

Swami Ramdev, the yoga guru, met with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at his bungalow here on Sunday. The Chief Minister discussed the discussion on his official X handle.

“Today, I had the opportunity of meeting yoga master Swami Ramdev Ji at the Chief Minister’s residence, where I was greeted warmly. We addressed the growth of Ayurvedic medicine in Rajasthan as well as the promotion of public health through yoga,” the Chief Minister wrote in Hindi (translated into English) on X.

Swami Ramdev’s spokeswoman, Tijarawala, described the meeting as a significant development in a post on X, implying that something significant and large could be expected in the future. Baba Ramdev has also reposted his X post.

According to sources, the Chief Minister and the Yoga Guru discussed how to further promote Yoga and Ayurveda for the benefit of the public. The Yoga Guru is believed to have briefed the Chief Minister on how the mix of Yoga, Pranayama, and Ayurveda had produced beneficial outcomes.

Meanwhile, netizens have responded enthusiastically to the development. One X user says, “Promoting yoga and Ayurveda is a crucial step towards a healthier Rajasthan. Swami Ramdev Ji’s efforts to make yoga and naturopathy accessible to everyone are admirable.

Many additional social media users have expressed their satisfaction with the meeting, anticipating a large project in Rajasthan in the future.

Earlier, on January 27, Baba Ramdev visited Prayagraj with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and took a holy plunge at the Sangam Ghat. He also took part in the aarti at Triveni Sangam.

The Yoga guru also prayed for the injured at the Maha Kumbh after the stampede on Mauni Amavasya.

He stated, “We took a holy plunge today, remembering the injured in our prayers and wishing them a swift recovery. We conducted a symbolic’snan’ and prayed for everyone’s well-being.
