Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed his wishes for Holi, the festival of colours, on Friday with a bright photo taken on his iPhone.

“Happy Holi to all those celebrating!” Cook wrote in a post on social networking site X, alongside a photo of the festival’s vivid colours and enthusiasm, taken with an iPhone.

The photograph was taken by Kushagra Tiwari.

“May it be as joyous and fun as Kushagra Tiwari’s beautiful #ShotOniPhone photo,” he wrote in response.

The image shows a person standing in a field wearing an orange and pink attire. As described in the photo’s Alt Tag, the person is holding a plate loaded with blue, pink, mint green, and yellow powder, as well as white, orange, and red flower petals.

The individual is identified as “laughing and looking off to the side, with streaks of red and blue on the face as well as flower petals” .

Cook extended his Holi wishes last year in a shot captured by photographer Joshua Karthik.

Earlier this week, leading Indian photographers highlighted how the iPhone 16 Pro series’ cutting-edge camera technologies enabled them to shoot more natural-looking and bright photographs, capturing the genuine essence of Holi.

New Delhi-based Bobby Roy told IANS that the 48MP Fusion Camera with zero shutter latency is ideal for high-speed Holi activity. He also suggested utilising Portrait Mode, which blurs the background and focusses on colourful faces to create more striking Holi portraits while also maximising colour accuracy.

The device, with its 48MP Fusion Camera, 4K 120 fps slo-mo, and 5x Telephoto lens for zoom, is designed to make your festival images genuinely stand out, according to the ace photographers.

According to Siddhartha Joshi, 4K 120 fps slow-motion video is a game changer, allowing users to slow down the action and display every small detail in astonishing clarity.

While Gursimran Basra offered a 48MP main camera with no shutter lag for fast action photos, Rohit Vohra, a street/travel photographer and educator, advised an ultra-wide camera with autofocus for group shots and festival vistas.
